In cooperation with Noblesville Schools and the Noblesville
Street Department, Keep Noblesville Beautiful (KNB) has selected
its debut project. Called "Snow Day = Clean Day,"
the project will consist of litter pickup along the shoulder
of State Road 37 between the boundaries of 141st Street to
191st Street. Noblesville High School seniors who need volunteer
hours to fulfill graduation requirements will be providing
the majority of the manpower for this project. The project
will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
The morning will begin at 8:00am with registration at Noblesville
High School. Said Greg Christmas, KNB Chair, "The KNB
Board is excited to kick off our first project. We're looking
forward to spearheading projects that will improve the appearance
of Noblesville, and this project is a great start."
Noblesville High School seniors who would like to volunteer
should contact Mr. Bill Kenley at NHS to sign up. Please note:
all students under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed
by a parent or guardian in order to participate. Waiver forms
are available from Mr. Kenley.
