Peony Festival Coordinates Spring Flower Planting on the Square
We had a great time partnering on this project with the Indiana Peony Festival & Noblesville Parks & Recreation. Thank you to everyone who came out to help plant and refresh the downtown planters. We're grateful for strong community partners and the continued support from the City of Noblesville, Ind.. The square is looking great this spring thanks to everyone's effort! Midland Trace Trailhead Upgrade
A prescribed burn was successfully carried out at the Midland Trace Trailhead bioswale through a strong partnership between the City of Noblesville, Keep Noblesville Beautiful, and the Noblesville Fire Department. Under ideal conditions, the burn was completed and proved highly effective in reducing invasive species pressure within this sensitive stormwater feature. By clearing out accumulated plant material and targeting aggressive invasive growth, the team was able to quickly reset the site and create a healthier foundation for future improvements. The bioswale is now primed for its next chapter. Keep Noblesville Beautiful will build on this momentum with the installation of native rain garden plantings, transforming the area into a more resilient, functional, and visually appealing landscape feature that benefits both the environment and the community. Butterflies are Returning!
The butterflies at Little Chicago Road and 191st Street are returning after a long migration period where they received structural upgrades to handle the strong winds. Look for these beautiful sculptures to be installed over the next several months as their wing strength and supports are tested and adjusted.
Midland Trace Trailblazers
Earlier this spring residents of the Slater Farms neighborhood spent the afternoon cleaning up a section of the Midland Trace Trail that backs up to their neighborhood. Heavy winds from the winter left lots of debris for them to collect. Thank you for jumping in to help keep our public spaces looking great!
